Filming is underway in Vancouver on the second season of CW's The Flash, and a couple of set photos have stirred up some question marks about the speedster's latest foe. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is seen being confronted by a rather large, metal-masked enemy who doesn't bear an immediate resemblance to any particular DC Comics villain. So while we don't have any idea who the character is just yet, we do know the guy under the mask is WWE Hall of Famer, Adam "Edge" Copeland.
Set photos from a user's Instagram account reveal Edge under the mask, making this his latest foray into the world of television since retiring in 2011 due to injury. Since then he has been busy on the big and small screen, starring in the WWE Studios feature Bending the Rules and landing a recurring role in the SyFy Channel series, Haven.
Copeland joins other season two newcomers Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick and Shantel VanSanten as Patty Spivot. The Flash returns to the CW on Oct. 6th.
