Bradley Cooper gets Cooking in the First Trailer for 'Burnt'
What is it with Bradley Cooper playing bad boys chefs in need of a culinary comeback? Some may have forgotten that back in the mid 2000s he starred in the short-lived TV series, Kitchen Confidential, a show many felt was cancelled long before its time. Well now he's back and ready serve up a similar story with Burnt, a film that has undergone a number of name changes in a fairly short amount of time.
The first trailer for Burnt has arrived and despite a phenomenal cast it may have a hard time standing out in a crowded recent field of cooking-inspired dramas. Formerly titled Chef (until Jon Favreau shut that whole thing down with his film), and then Adam Jones (yawn), the film centers on a celebrity chef who loses his standing in the Paris culinary scene, so he assembles a superstar group of chefs to start a new kitchen and win his elusive third Michelin star. The rest of the cast consists of Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Alicia Vikander, Jamie Dornan, Matthew Rhys, Daniel Bruhl, Emma Thompson, Uma Thurman, and Lily James.
Directed by John Wells (August: Osage County), Burnt opens on October 23rd.
