As noted when Kate Mara landed a plum role as Iraq War hero Megan Leavey, the stars of Fantastic Four are going to be walk away from that terrible experience perfectly okay. The next one to move on in a big way is the guy who nearly decked Josh Trank during filming: Miles Teller. THR reports that Teller is in early talks to star in Thank You For Your Service, a military drama dealing with PTSD.
Once eyed as a potential project for Steven Spielberg, it will instead be American Sniper writer Jason Dean Hall who will direct based on his own screenplay. Based on the book by David Finkel, the story follows three PTSD-afflicted soldiers struggling to acclimate to civilian life after returning from Iraq.
A start date still hasn't been nailed down but this has "Oscar season" written all over it for next year. Next up for Teller is Todd Phillips' Arms and the Dudes opposite Jonah Hill.
