New Trailer for 'Hitman: Agent 47' ramps up the Violence to insane Levels
Who would win in a fight between Deadpool and Agent 47? Perhaps 20th Century Fox should consider making that their next crossover since that whole X-Men/Fantastic Four idea may not ever get off the ground if early reviews of the latter mean anything. Two purveyors of hyper-stylish violence, one a silent assassin who always gets the job done, the other a motormouth of questionable sanity. Perhaps if "reboot" Hitman: Agent 47 does better than many expect that will be the path Fox decides to take.
But for now, a new ultra-violent trailer for Hitman: Agent 47 has arrived, and it's far crazier than the last. Rupert Friend takes over the role of the bar-coded assassin, whose latest mission involves killing everyone who plan to expose the secrets of his mysterious employer. There will be hot chicks, plenty of bullets, the occasional helicopter crash, and lots of guys dressed in well-tailored suits. The costume budget must have been astronomical. Here's the official synopsis:
HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research – and forty-six earlier Agent clones -- endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.
Also starring Hannah Ware, Zachary Quinto, and Ciaran Hinds, Hitman: Agent 47 opens August 21st.
