David Fincher successfully made the move from film to the small screen a few years ago with Netflix's House of Cards, and that series continues to be a strong one entering its fourth season. Fincher hasn't had quite the same luck elsewhere, though. His two developing HBO projects, Utopia and Videosyncrazy, were unceremoniously dropped and don't seem to be coming back. But Fincher's trying again, and unsurprisingly he's going back to Netflix where he knows things will work out.

The project has been in the works for years and was initially set up at HBO. There's no word on when things will get rolling but Netflix will likely want to move on it sooner rather than later. [Deadline]
