Radiohead's Unused 'Spectre' Theme Is Better Than Sam Smith's

Know what was kind of a let down this year? Spectre. Even more of a disappointment was Sam Smith's theme, which sounded like a tired attempt to recreate Adele's awesome Skyfall theme. Why they went with it is still a bit of a mystery, especially now that Radiohead has revealed the unused track they recorded for the James Bond film.

Radiohead's Thom Yorke revealed the Spectre track along with a few words from the group:

"Last year we were asked to write a theme tune for the Bond movie Spectre.
Yes we were. It didn’t work out, but became something of our own, which we love very much.
As the year closes we thought you might like to hear it.
Merry Christmas. May the force be with you."

Points for the Star Wars reference. I'm no Radiohead fan in any kind of way, but their theme certainly has more personality than Smith's. Check it out for yourself below.
