We're happy to offer our DC readers a chance to attend a free advance screening of Todd Haynes' acclaimed drama, Carol, starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara in awards-caliber performances. Based on Patricia Highsmith's novel, the 1950s drama details the unexpected romance between Carol (Blanchett), a troubled upper-class housewife, and Therese (Mara), a young shop clerk.
