First 'Deadpool' Clip Features 2 Girls And 1 Explosive Punch

20th Century Fox has been going large with the marketing hype for Deadpool, perhaps sensing the R-rated superhero may need a bit of a push. But don't take it as a sign they lack confidence in the film, because they've just spent a ton of money to it in front of the biggest TV audience of the year: the Super Bowl.

Fox is sparing no expense to build an entire day surrounding next Sunday's big game between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers. Not only will there be Super Bowl TV spots, but Ryan Reynolds will be handing out chimchangas at a special screening of the film on Saturday, preceded by the arrival of a Deadpool food truck on Friday.

So get ready for merc overload next weekend, or you can get started right now by checking out the first clip featuring Colossus (Stefan Kapicic and Andre Tricoteaux) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) as they face the threat of Angel Dust (Gina Carano) and Ajax (Ed Skrein). It's a pretty solid mix of action and gags, which is probably what we can expect from the film as a whole. But if it's as funny as the "prom sex" line Deadpool drops here, that will be perfectly okay.

Deadpool hits theaters on February 12th. [THR]
