The last time we saw the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, he was taking down the corrupt Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio). And if you thought the first season of Daredevil was intense, season two is shaping up to be quite the spectacle of dark themes and Matt Murdoch's (Charlie Cox) guilt.
Netflix and Marvel have released the teaser trailer for the show's upcoming sophomore season and the trailer itself is beautifully edited, with well-chosen voice-overs filtering through what can only be called the Daredevil-style church setting before it's all destroyed by gunshots.
It was rumored that Netflix had set the date to release the next 13 episodes of the series on the same day of the theatrical release of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but a rumor is a rumor and Netflix has confirmed that the new episodes will be ready to stream beginning March 18, 2016.
The returning cast includes Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson, with newcomers Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, and Elodie Yung, who will play the assassin Elektra Natchios. You can check out the teaser trailer and the latest season two poster below!
March 18 can't come any sooner.
