With filming set to begin next month on Vin Diesel's XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, the cast has been rounded out with the addition of Toni Collette. She'll play “a bureaucrat in the intelligence service” in the action sequel which centers on two badass teams going head-to-head. Presumably Diesel will be leading one of those teams, and perhaps co-stars Jet Li, Tony Jaa, and UFC champ Conor McGregor will be on the other? Samuel L. Jackson, Deepika Padukone, Nina Dobrev, and Ruby Rose are also part of director D.J. Caruso's cast. [THR]
Game of Thrones and Furious 7's gorgeous Nathalie Emmanuel has joined Sam Worthington, Taylor Schilling, and Tom Wilkinson in sci-fi flick, The Titan. Directed by Lennard Ruff, the indie film centers on a military family who takes park in a ground-breaking experiment of genetic evolution and space exploration. No word on when this will roll. [THR]
Another HBO alum, Stephen Moyer (True Blood, Concussion), has joined Jennifer Garner, Maika Monroe, Cody Fern (replacing Tye Sheridan), and Elisabeth Rohm in The Tribes of Palos Verdes, based on the YA novel by Joy Nicholson. Directed by Emmett and Brendan Malloy, the story centers
