Keanu Reeves Hits The Road For 'Rally Car'

It's funny how a career can come full circle. Twenty years ago Keanu Reeves played the young hot shot in everything. Now he's the aging veteran in pretty much everything, and yet his career has never been brighter than it is right now. And the Chinese producers behind the upcoming film Rally Car are hoping to cash in on Reeves' rejuvenated international popularity.

Reeves is set to star in the film which will be directed by Harald Zwart, who was last behind the camera for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. The film is being designed for the massive Asian market like so many are these days, with Reeves set to play an aging NASCAR driver who is takes on a female Chinese co-driver when he's forced into a high stakes rally race across China.

While these racing movies don't always do well here in the States, they tend to score big overseas. Plus, let's not forget the humble street-racing beginnings of Fast & Furious. You never know how these things will end up.
