Having just won Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards for Inside Out, you'd think Pixar wold be riding high right now. But last year also saw them release The Good Dinosaur, which wasn't received well at all. This year they only have one release and it's the anticipated Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory, which promises to at least be a box office smash if not a critical darling.
Once again directed by Andrew Stanton the film features the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Willem Dafoe, Eugene Levy, and Diane Keaton. along with Michael Sheen and The Wire's Idris Elba and Dominic West. The film shifts gears and centers on Dory as the royal blue tang fish recalls childhood memories and goes on a quest to find her family. Along the way she'll run into a school of colorful characters, including some familiar aquatic faces.
Finding Dory makes a splash on June 17th.
