With David Hasselhoff donning the red swim trunks for the upcoming Baywatch movie, it was inevitable that show's other huge star, Pamela Anderson, would join him. And now Dwayne Johnson has confirmed that Anderson has joined the cast, and hopefully we'll get to see her in that iconic red swimsuit. Johnson revealed the news on Instagram, of course, just as he's been providing updates on a regular basis.
“She introduced the world to ‘CJ Parker’ and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation – for the most successful TV show of all time. A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #BAYWATCH cast. We couldn’t have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us!”
But who will Anderson be playing? Kelly Rohrbach has the role of CJ Parker now, so maybe she could be her mom? She joins Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Priyanka Chopra, Hannibal Buress, Belinda PeregrÃn, Izabel Goulart, and Charlotte McKinney. Baywatch opens May 19th 2017, directed by Seth Gordon.
