Daisy Ridley To Star In 'The Lost Wife', Shows Off Her Lightsaber Skills

Think Daisy Ridley is going to be remembered only for Star Wars? Well, she's doing her utmost to make sure that doesn't happen. In the last few days alone she's agreed to star in Marielle Heller's fantasy romance, Kolma, and she's in talks to take over the Lara Croft role in a Tomb Raider reboot. And now she's ready for something more dramatic, agreeing to star in the WWII film, The Lost Wife.

Variety reports that Ridley will star in the adaptation of Alyson Richman's novel, which is set in Prague and centers on two young lovers separated by the Nazi invasion. Through happenstance they are reunited decades later in New York, giving them another chance at happiness. While the search is on for a director, the screenplay will be written by Marc Klein, known for penning Russell Crowe's A Good Year.

No matter what, Star Wars is never far away from Ridley's thoughts, and she posted this video on Facebook of her honing those badass lightsaber skills. Now we know how Rey was able to fend off Kylo Ren so easy.
