First Look At Denzel Washington And Chris Pratt In 'The Magnificent Seven' Remake

Was anybody really clamoring for a remake of Western classic, The Magnificent Seven? Not really, but that all quieted down once Antoine Fuqua started putting his cast together. Because who is going to complain about seeing Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt saddling up for action, along with Ethan Hawke (completing the Training Day reunion), Vincent D'Onofrio, and Lee Byung-hun?

USA Today has now delivered the first official photos from The Magnificent Seven, which shows off the entire gang of gunslingers including co-stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Martin Sensmeier. Washington sports a mean set of muttonchops as Sam Chisholm, with Pratt as Josh Faraday, and Hawke as the colorfully named Goodnight Robicheaux. They lead a band of hired guns employed to protect the desperate people of Rose Creek, who have been terrorized by wealthy industrialist Bartholomew Bogue, played by Peter Sarsgaard.

Also starring Haley Bennett, Matt Bomer, and Vinnie Jones with a screenplay by Nic Pizzolatto (True Detective) and Richard Wenk (The Equalizer), The Magnificent Seven opens September 23rd. Look for the trailer to arrive tomorrow!
