Lily Collins And Steven Yeun Join Bong Joon-Ho's 'Okja'

Any time there's a new film by South Korean director Bong Joon-ho it's a big deal, but coming on the heels of the awesome Snowpiercer, anticipation is at an all-time high.  The next project from the director of Mother (which I think is his best, by the way) and The Host has long been revealed to be monster movie, Okja, and the already-great cast just got better.

Paul Dano, Tilda Swinton, and Jake Gyllenhaal have been attached for a while, but now they have been joined by Lily Collins (Mirror Mirror), Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), Devon Bostick (The 100), Byun Heebong, Shirley Henderson, Daniel Henshall, Yoon Je Moon, and Choi Wooshik. Penned by Joon-ho and Jon Ronson (Frank), the story centers on a girl named Mija (Seohyun An), who risks everything to prevent a powerful multi-national corporation from kidnapping Okja, a massive animal that happens to be her best friend.

Production is underway now with Netflix planning to release it in 2017.
