Paramount's Hasbro Writer's Room Includes Brian K. Vaughan, Michael Chabon, Nicole Perlman, And More

Hasbro's action figure and toy lines have always existed in their own little pocket universe. In the Marvel Comics they used to publish back in the day you'd see G.I. Joe and the Transformers crossover every once in a while, with major events happening every time they did. So it's not so crazy that Paramount wants to recreate that on the big screen, as we learned they would late last year. And now we know who will be part of bringing that universe to fruition.

According to THR, the Hasbro "Writer's Room" will consist of Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Michael Chabon (Spider-Man 2), Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy), renowned Y: The Last Man writer Brian K. Vaughan, John Francis Daly and Jonathan Goldstein (Vacation, Spider-Man: Homecoming), Cheo Coker (Luke Cage), Jeff Pinkner (The Dark Tower), Geneva Robertson (Tomb Raider reboot), Joe Robert Cole (Marvel's Black Panther), Lindsey Beer, and Nicole Riegel. They'll be charged with piecing together a cinematic universe that consists of G.I. Joe, Transformers, M.A.S.K., Micronauts, Visionaries, and ROM the Spaceknight.

Paramount seems to have liked what Akiva Goldsman's writer room was able to pull off with Transformers, so we'll see what this group can put together.
