Excuse me while I get totally unprofessional for a moment...
Alicia Vikander AND Eva Green in the same movie??? That much hotness can't be legal in the same movie, can it? Ahem, and of course they are both incredibly talented, as well, yes. Absolutely. They'll be starring together in Euphoria, the first film from Vikander's newly-launched Vikarious Productions banner.
Vikander and Green will play "sisters in conflict traveling through Europe towards a mystery destination." The film will reteam Vikander for the third time with writer/director Lisa Langseth after their previous collaborations Pure and Hotell. This will be Langseth's English-language debut so having a familiar face in Vikander, who made a successful transition from Swedish movies, can only help the production go smoothly.
Shooting kicks off in August, and probably won't take long considering Vikander's incredibly busy schedule. She recently agreed to take the coveted Lara Croft role in the Tomb Raider reboot, and will be seen later this year in Tulip Fever, Jason Bourne, and Disney's The Light Between Oceans. [Deadline]
