This is shaping up to be one of the biggest years in Seth Rogen's career, which is pretty crazy when you think about all he's done before. Not only does he have Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising opening this weekend (review later today), but he's got a Preacher TV series hitting AMC soon, and an adaptation of comic book The Boys on the way. And then there's his R-rated animated comedy, Sausage Party, which promises to be the raunchiest of them all.
A new green band trailer for Sausage Party has dropped, and even without some of its filthier elements it's still pretty out there. Co-written and voiced by Rogen along with Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, James Franco, Michael Cera, Edward Norton, Danny McBride, Paul Rudd, Craig Robinson, Bill Hader, Salma Hayek, and more, the film centers on grocery store food that learn they'll eventually be gobbled up for dinner. So they set out on a plan to escape the store and....do whatever it is that runaway food does.
