It's An X-Man Steel Cage Match In New 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Clip

Think about it: by the end of May we will have already seen four superhero movies: Deadpool, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Captain America: Civil War, and lastly, X-Men: Apocalypse. When people talk about "superhero fatigue" this is exactly the kind of thing they're talking about, although the box office for each doesn't suggest any such thing exists. And 20th Century Fox certainly hopes audiences are still pumped to turn out for the X-Men, and if not then maybe this awesome clip will do the trick.

The scene features a WWE-style cage match between Angel (Ben Hardy) and Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), two "new" additions to the franchise, while Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) watches in a sexy'80s outfit.  Angel has appeared in these movies before played by Ben Foster in the atrocious X-Men: The Last Stand, while Alan Cumming played Nightcrawler in the classic X2: X-Men United. Things are different now, though, with the characters younger and likely to stick around for the long haul.

Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse opens May 27th.
