Ever wanted to ride in the Ghostbusters' Ecto-1? Well now you can thanks to Lyft, which has partnered with Sony Pictures' upcoming Ghostbusters film to give users in Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York City, Boston,and San Francisco the chance to go "Ghost Mode" and be picked up an Ecto-1 vehicle.
The promotion runs Friday July 1st to Saturday July 2nd, through the hours of 10AM to 8PM each day, in which users can toggle into Ghost Mode on the Lyft app and request a free ride in an Ecto-1. Inside each vehicle will be special Ghostbusters promo items from special Ghostbusters Twinkies (which I taste tested for you today because that's how nice I am), Ghostbusters themed Hi-C coolers, and more. There's even the chance to win tickets to the Ghostbusters world premiere event in Los Angeles on July 9th. I can't guarantee that your driver will be dressed up as an actual Ghostbuster like mine was, but let's hope so in order to complete the effect.
