HBO's Game of Thrones is beginning to draw to an end. Sure, there are still two seasons left, but they've been massively reduced with season 7 only providing 7 episodes, and starting a few months later as well. Less episodes, long wait? How does that compute? Anyway, it just goes to show how much time and effort goes into the show that production on the next season has already begun, and at the popular Comic-Con panel yesterday a new video was released teasing the next season.
There isn't any footage, of course, but you do get a glimpse at what is being put into the next season, while providing some ominous voice-over about Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) as the new Queen. Fear her. And as usual, the panel came complete with a blooper reel from the prior season, much of it involving Peter Dinklage who always looks like the on-set clown. For a show as grim as Game of Thrones it's good everyone seems to be having so much fun. "Benevolent" really is a hard word to mix into casual conversation.
Game of Thrones returns for its 7th season next summer.
