Liam Neeson Joins The Battle Of Inchon In New 'Operation Chromite' Trailer
It's not often we get war movies told from a perspective other than our own. The last one I can think of was Clint Eastwood's Letters from Iwo Jima which looked at WWII from the Japanese perspective. Now we've got director Lee Jae-han's thriller Operation Chromite which tells a little-known story of the Korean War, and how South Korea was aided in one of their covert operations by U.S. General Douglas MacArthur, played by a growly Liam Neeson.
The exciting new trailer centers on the operation known as "X-ray", in which a number of South Korean agents, with help from U.S. Army, infiltrated North Korea's command forces in events that led directly to the "Battle of Inchon". Obviously this trailer was designed for U.S. audiences which is why Neeson figures so heavily, as there's the hope it can be a hit here as well as overseas.
Operation Chromite opens August 27th. Check out the trailer below courtesy of Comingsoon.
