While filming is still underway on Fast 8, Dwayne Johnson has been like a one-man social media army posting photos of his role as Agent Hobbs. He promised us back in May when he dropped the first photo that we'd be seeing an all-new version of Hobbs, and he wasn't kidding because the Hobbs we're getting is decked out in prison orange.
The photo back in May had Hobbs standing in what looked like a prison yard, and now we see he wasn't just visiting. And of course, Johnson had something badass to caption the image with: “The Iceman cometh. And don’t fucketh around.”
So why is Hobbs behind bars? And how awesome is his assumed escape going to be? When last we saw him he was escorting Shaw (Jason Statham) to prison, not looking to get locked up himself. We'll find out more next year when Fast 8 opens on April 17th.
