Meet "The Wall" In Final 'Suicide Squad' Trailer

It's only fitting that the final trailer for Suicide Squad has dropped today as Comic-Con gears up. It was almost exactly a year ago that the first footage debuted in Hall H to a room packed full of eager (and sweaty) fanboys. What's changed since then? Well, the entire DCU landscape has been altered due to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but the expectations for David Ayer's  flick remain as high as ever.

The new footage doesn't reveal much that we haven't seen, but it does put much of the emphasis on Viola Davis as Amanda "The Wall" Waller, the puppet master pulling the strings of her team of villainous operatives, forced to take on deadly missions for the government. And if they die? Eh, they're villains so who cares? Waller's always up to something and how far this film will go into her sinister agenda is anybody's guess. Something tells me Waller will be important to the future of the entire DCU, well beyond this movie.

Starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez, and Karen Fukahara, Suicide Squad opens August 5th.
