Robert Pattinson And Mia Wasikowska May Reunite For Zellner Brothers' Western 'Damsel'

Never heard of the Zellner Brothers? Then clearly you didn't see last year's delightfully strange Fargo-inspired fantasy, Kumiko the Treasure Hunter, because it's pretty unforgettable. So what's next for the duo? Another film that combines Coen Brothers' small-town sensibilities with Japanese culture and imaginary bunnies? Well, no. Turns out their next film is a Western titled Damsel, and it may have found two big time stars in Robert Pattinson and Mia Wasikowska.

According to The Film Stage's report, Pattinson will headline the film described as a “Western Era comedy about a man trying to marry the woman of his dreams.” Wasikowska is said to be in talks to join the project, which would be a reunion with Pattinson after David Cronenberg's Maps to the Stars. Sounds pretty bland compared to the weirdness of 'Kumiko'.

Filming is apparently underway now in Utah, and we know because there are already set photos out there.
