'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 4 Casts Jason O'Mara As New Team Leader
If there's one thing we already know about Agents of SHIELD season 4, it's that there are going to be a lot of changes. Already the Marvel hero Ghost Rider will be making his fiery debut in the MCU, and now a new director of SHIELD will be coming in to replace Agent Coulson.
Jason O'Mara, known for Terra Nova and for voicing Batman in numerous animated movies, will be playing the new Director of SHIELD when the series returns this fall. While we don't know who exactly he'll be playing, the character's "Marvel roots go back to the 1940s."
The season 3 finale teased a six-month time leap that revealed Coulson (Clark Gregg) was no longer in charge. That led many to assume Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) had taken over, but that was always too easy of an answer. So who is O'Mara playing then? Honestly, your guess is as goo as mine. I don't have a friggin' clue, but if you have an idea let us know!
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD returns to ABC on September 20th.
