Promising director Josh Mond, who broke out with last year's intense drama James White, has found his next project. He'll direct Who Is Jake Ellis?, an adaptation of the Image Comics graphic novel by Nathan Edmonson and Tonci Zonjic. If this sounds familiar, it's because David Yates (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) was attached to it three years ago, but this is a more exciting prospect in my opinion. The story centers on top spy-for-hire John Moore, whose incredible ability is linked a mysterious and invisible psychic guide who helps him out of impossible situations. Deadline's story refers to a character named Silas rather than John Moore, and says that a new writer will be brought aboard now that Mond is involved. So we could see some other changes to the story.
