First Look At Ana Lily Amirpour's 'The Bad Batch' With Jason Momoa

An Iranian vampire Western?? That was probably the startled question you got when suggesting to a friend that Ana Lily Amirpour's buzzy debut feature A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night was a must-see.  The film set her career afire almost overnight, and anticipation has been building for her follow-up The Bad Batch, which promised a wild ensemble in some kind of cannibal love story. And now the wait is nearing an end as the first images have arrived as it gears up for a debut at TIFF.

Starring Jason Momoa, Suki Waterhouse, Giovanni Ribisi, Yolonda Ross, Jayda Fink, Cory Roberts, Louie Lopez, Keanu Reeves, and Jim Carrey, the film is described as  "A savage dystopian cannibal fairy tale set in a Texas wasteland where society’s rejects are just trying to make ends meat."  Yes, please.

TIFF kicks off on September 8th, and it probably won't be long after that we'll begin hearing about The Bad Batch's theatrical release.
