Remember Nancy Meyers' workplace comedy, The Intern? At one point it was built around the combination of Robert De Niro and Reese Witherspoon, not Anne Hathaway. When Witherspoon dropped out it nearly destroyed the entire project. Well now the actress will finally get a chance to work with her in the indie film, Home Again, which Meyers will produce while her daughter Hallie Meyers-Shye writes and directs. Witherspoon will play "a single mother who relocates to Los Angeles and finds herself living with three younger men who become part of her unconventional family." Shooting begins next month. [THR]
