Bill Hader's extensive list of voice credits already includes Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Sausage Party, Ice Age, Hoodwinked Too, Turbo, Inside Out,The Angry Birds Movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Finding Dory. Oh, and he did one of the voices in Spike Jonze's Her. Basically, his voice acting career is hella prolific, and now we know he'll be a late addition to the Power Rangers cast as their robotic sidekick, Alpha 5.
Hader joins the upcoming reboot as Alpha 5, who is best known for his "Aye-yi-yi" yelp, which apparently will make the transition to the big screen. The robot is always in the control room alongside giant floating head mentor, Zordon (played by Bryan Cranston), ready to help out the team in any way his stubby little arms can. The Power Rangers will be played by Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, Becky Gomez, and Ludi Lin with Elizabeth Banks as villain Rita Repulsa.
