Chloe Moretz Joins 'Suspiria' Remake With Tilda Swinton And Dakota Johnson
It was only days ago that Chloe Grace Moretz, in a very mature move, decided to wipe her film slate clean. It wasn't necessarily to take a break from acting, but to re-evaluate the choices she was making. And it appears she has decided on a role that she really wants to take, and it's in the long-developing Suspiria remake by I Am Love and A Bigger Splash director Luca Guadagnino.
Guadagnino's redo of the 1977 giallo classic already has A Bigger Splash duo Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton on board, along with Nymphomaniac's Mia Goth. David Kajganich (True Story) has taken over scripting duties on the film which centers on an American ballet student who discovers something sinister at the prestigious dance academy she has transferred to.
Things are finally moving fast now with filming set to begin this month with Amazon Studios distributing. The big question left hanging out there is who will tackle the score, which was so much of what made the original terrifying. [Variety]
