Now that Luke Cage is out there knockin' heads in Marvel and Netflix's latest hit series, it's time for his best buddy to start clearing some room. Today Netflix has confirmed Iron Fist will arrive next year on March 17th 2017, which is not that far away at all. And to help celebrate the news they've dropped a brand new image of star Finn Jones, doing what kung-fu dudes with iron fists are supposed to.
Not only is Rand about to knock that poor chump's block off, but a look behind him shows a pile of goons who already got punched into the middle of next week. Rand is a billionaire playboy who returns to New York City after being missing for years. He uses a mastery of martial arts never seen before and the ability to call upon the iron fist to battle crime and corruption.
Scott Buck will oversee the series with Jessica Henwick co-starring as popular Marvel character Colleen Wing, plus supporting roles for David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, and Tom Pelphrey. Carrie-Anne Moss will also reprise her Daredevil and Jessica Jones role as attorney Jeri Hogarth.
