More Michael Pena! It's a verifiable fact that every movie with Pena is better than it would be without him (Well, except maybe for Crash which couldn't be saved), and that bodes well for Ava DuVernay's A Wrinkle in Time.
Pena has joined the impressive cast of Disney's adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s 1962 novel as principal photography kicks off. He joins Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Storm Reid, Chris Pine, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Zach Galifianakis, Andre Holland, Levi Miller, Bellamy Young, Rowan Blanchard and Will McCormack in the film about a young girl who goes on a journey across space and time to find her missing scientist father. Pena will play a mysterious character named Red, who may be the villain described in the book as having red eyes.
This comes just a day after Pena joined the cast of war film Horse Soldiers with Michael Shannon and Chris Hemsworth. The more we see of Pena the better.
