Woody Harrelson Has A Lot To Say In Red Band Trailer For 'Wilson'

Adaptations of Daniel Clowes comics have been a mixed bad thus far. There was Ghost World which is still fondly remembered as one of the best comic book movies ever made. And then a few years later there was considerably less success with Art School Confidential, which would be forgettable if the memories weren't so painful. So it's hard to know what to expect out of Wilson, which features Woody Harrelson in a curmudgeonly lead performance that could either be very fun or very annoying. They can't all be Harvey Pekar.

Harrelson stars alongside Judy Greer, Laura Dern, Cheryl Hines, Margo Martindale and Isabella Amara in the story of a middle-aged misanthrope whose dark outlook on life takes a sunny turn when he reuintes with his estranged wife and learns he has a teenage daughter. Of course he sets out to connect with the child he never knew, delivering jagged outlooks on life the whole way.

Directed by Craig Johnson, Wilson opens March 24th 2017.
