It's hard for me to fathom that Taylor Sheridan was once just that annoyingly-decent cop guy on Sons of Anarchy. He's known for a lot more than that now as the screenwriter behind the excellent Sicario and this year's popular favorite, Hell or High Water. He's got another crime thriller on the burner in Wind River, marking his directorial debut. And now today we've got the first look at stars Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen. Jon Bernthal, Graham Greene, and Kelsey Show co-star. Here's the synopsis:
An FBI agent teams with the town’s veteran game tracker to investigate a murder that ocurred on a Native American reservation.
So a little something different from the Marvel alums, and it'll be nice to see them not having to battle Ultron or anybody with superpowers. Presumably there are no superpowers.
