On the list of surprising pieces of news, this will rank way down at the bottom. Marvel and Netflix have confirmed that Luke Cage, which was pretty amazing and critically acclaimed like all of their shows, is coming back for a second season. So who wants coffee?

Next year will bring Iron Fist followed by the series crossover The Defenders, which unites all of the characters from the previous shows including Jessica Jones and Daredevil. Every show that has aired has now been confirmed for a follow-up season, while Daredevil has been confirmed for its third.
