Tons Of New Footage In The Final Trailer For 'Assassin's Creed'

My antennae go up whenever it seems like we're seeing too much of any movie, because it's usually a sign of studio concern. That's the feeling I'm getting about Assassin's Creed, which isn't generating a ton of buzz even though it comes out in only a couple of weeks. It may not have been the best idea to try and launch the video game adaptation just a few days after 'Rogue One', just sayin'.

Anyway, there's some new footage in this latest trailer, featuring stars Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard. If there's any reason to be intrigued it's to see how those two operate in action-packed blockbuster territory. The film, which reunites the duo with Macbeth director Justin Kurzel, finds Fassbender as a man forced by a mysterious organization to walk through the memories of his 15th-century ancestor, a member of a secret society of assassins.

Assassin's Creed opens December 21st.
