So will he or won't he be back for the upcoming Terminator reboot? When audiences failed to show any love for Terminator Genisys, wiping out any franchise hopes like Skynet wiping out all of humanity, the decision was made to go with an attempted reboot. The upshot was the presence of James Cameron as a producer and major story consultant, and Deadpool director Tim Miller on board to helm the film. One of the earliest pieces of news was that Arnold Schwarzenegger would not be asked back to return as the T-800, marking the clearest break from the original movies ever. While Arnold has said in the past he would return, his recent comments at Cannes are far more definitive.

Yeah, that sounds like he's in. I guess at this point it's just a paying respect thing, because if Genisys told us anything it's that audiences don't care if Arnold is involved.
Arnold also gave a surprising update on the Conan sequel that was recently put on the shelf. He says now, “It’s being rewritten…the idea is to do it." We'll see about that. After Tarzan and King Arthur movies both failed recently I see little reason why another old literary property like Conan would get a green light from any studio.
Finally, Arnold has something positive to say about Triplets, that sequel to Twins that has been
We'll see about that.
