'Deadpool 2' Adds 'Baywatch' Actor Jack Kesy, Possibly As Black Tom Cassidy

After adding Josh Brolin and Zazie Beets as Cable and Domino, Deadpool 2 is finally getting around to the villains. Deadline reports that The Strain's Jack Kesy has joined the cast as a major bad guy, which they think may be Black Tom Cassidy, who isn't someone I would call "major" but whatever.

Black Tom Cassidy is an Irish mutant who also happens to be the cousin of X-Man Sean "Banshee" Cassidy. He's often been paired up with the Juggernaut as a criminal duo using their powers to commit petty crimes. Cassidy has the power to channel energy through and bond with plant life, which he usually does through a wooden shillelagh that he carries around like Fit Finlay. Sorry, that's a WWE reference. Cassidy and Deadpool would become enemies in the best Deadpool storyline ever, his first solo miniseries The Circle Chase. If you've never read it, do yourself a favor and see how Deadpool is supposed to be written, folks. 

Anyway, Kesy joins the returning Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Stefan Kapacic as Colossus. Kesy will be seen this weekend in Baywatch as one of Priyanka Chopra's dim-witted henchman.
