First Look At Daisy Ridley, Johnny Depp, & The 'Murder On The Orient Express' Cast

If you're looking for the classic Hercule Poirot or Angela Lansbury-style mystery, you're not going to find it on the big screen. Well, at least you couldn't for a long time because Hollywood doesn't really make those movies very often. However, that's about to change with Kenneth Branagh's Murder On the Orient Express, which boasts a star-studded cast that may draw audiences back to the genre.

EW has the first look at the film which finds Branagh pulling double duty as director and starring in the role of Poirot, whose facial hair has been given a serious upgrade. He's joined by Johnny Depp, Judi Dench, Michelle Pfeiffer, Josh Gad, Daisy Ridley, Penelope Cruz, Olivia Colman, Leslie Odom Jr, Willem Dafoe, Lucy Boynton, and Derek Jacobi who play suspects in the murder of a fellow passenger about the titular train. The film was previously adapted by Sidney Lumet in 1974, coming away with six Oscar nominations and a win by Ingrid Bergman for Best Supporting Actress.

Murder On the Orient Express leaves the station on November 10th.
