Earlier today Hulu did what any self-respecting, up and coming network would do and that's pick up their first Marvel Studios series with the long-developing Runaways. Everybody's getting in, so might as well join the club! Even Freeform has one. And already Hulu are basking in the glow of joining the Marvel club by tweeting this new cast photo that shows just how closely the young cast resembles the young heroes of Brian K. Vaughan's comic.
Dude, where's Old Lace? They can't have Runaways without Gert's dinosaur pet, right? Anyway, since these folks aren't super recognizable, from left to right are Ariela Barer (Gert Yorkes), Lyrica Okano (Nico Minoru), Rhenzy Feliz (Alex Wilder), Gregg Sulkin (Chase Stein), Virginia Gardner (Karolina Dean), and Allegra Acosta (Molly Hernandez).
Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are running the show, and we should look for the 10-episode season to debut next year.
