The Marmalade-Loving Bear Is Back In First 'Paddington 2' Teaser

It's time to grab your red hat, blue duffel coat, and basket full of marmalade sandwiches because everybody's favorite bear not named Yogi is back. 2015's Paddington was one of the year's most pleasant surprises and proved to be a big hit with over $260M worldwide, promising the bear would return for a sequel. And now the first trailer for Paddington 2 is here and it looks like another charmer, although I'd be lying if I said Nicole Kidman's villainous taxidermist wasn't missed.

Ben Whishaw is back as Paddington, who still lives in London with the Brown family (Sally Hawkins and Hugh Bonneville return, along with Jim Broadbent, Julie Walters and Peter Capaldi), finding trouble when he least expects it. This time he's taken on a series of jobs to buy a special pop-up book for his Aunt Lucy (Imelda Staunton), only to have the book stolen. Hugh Grant joins the cast as a narcissistic actor who appears to be in various disguises, and Brendan Gleeson plays a safecracker.

Once again directed by Paul King, Paddington 2 opens January 12th 2018.
