The upside to the vast amount of Star Wars merchandise is, obviously, $$$$$. The downside? Secrets get spoiled waaaayyyy too easily now. Every action figure reveals a previously mysterious character or plot detail, and in some cases, like with the Han Solo movie, toys can spoil the title. Such as it is.
Some promo materials for upcoming toys may have revealed the film's title to be...wait for it...Han Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Yeah, big whoop. At least we have something to officially call it now, rather than "young Han Solo spinoff" or whatever. That is unless Lucasfilm has something more elaborate in mind. If so, now would be the time to tell us.
Meanwhile, there is one more bit of news that may mean a bit more. Michael K. Williams, who recently saw his role dropped from the movie, revealed the name of Emilia Clarke's character to Vanity Fair.
“Williams had already filmed all of his scenes as a new character to the universe—’a link between Han Solo and Emilia’s character, Kira.'”
Something may have been lost in translation there, because the guys at Making Star Wars have confirmed the news but with one tiny change...
“I can assure it is not a misquote but it is a little different than what was printed as far as I know. … However, MakingStarWars.net can report that the spelling of the name in the Han Solo movie is not ‘Kira’ but rather ‘Kura’ according to sources around Pinewood Studios and the filming over the last year.”
Kira, Kura, whatever. It's the most we've learned about Clarke's role, and really it means nothing unless her last name is Skywalker or Kenobi or something, right?
Han Solo: A Star Wars Story opens May 25th 2018.
