Forget MEAN GIRLS, Here come the MEAN MOMS

Has it really been six years since Mean Girls came out? Whatever happened to that sweet redheaded Lohan chick that was in that? She ever make anything of herself after that?

Rosalind Wiseman, the author of the book Mean Girls was adapted from has another of her self help books being prepped for the big screen. The film is Mean Moms, and is being produced by New Line Cinema with Adam Shankman(Hairspray) on board to produce.

Based on Wiseman's 2006 book "Queen Bee Moms and King Pin Dads: Dealing with the Parents, Teachers, Coaches, and Counselors Who Can Make -- or Break -- Your Child's Future.", it features a happily married mother of two who moves to a new suburban neighborhood and faces the challenges of competitive parenting.

No word on who will direct, although I'm sure Shankman is a possibility given his history. The premise is basically Mean Girls for adults, but will it have Tina Fey's involvement? Probably not, but it would be cool if her "loser" teacher character could be brought back possibly as the new mom in town. It won't happen, but it's an idea.
