Eva Mendes won't be signing on for another road trip with the Spirit of Vengeance. Just a couple of days after Nicolas Cage confirmed he'd be back for the Ghost Rider sequel, Mendes made it clear at a press junket for her upcoming action comedy, The Other Guys, that she wouldn't be back.
Mendes starred as Roxanne, the childhood sweetheart and current love interest of Johnny Blaze. The 2007 Ghost Rider went on to gross over $228M worldwide despite horrible reviews from critics. It remains to be seen whether Columbia Pictures and the directing duo of Neveldine and Taylor will seek another actress to play the role or use another character entirely.
