Trailer Time: Faster, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

Let's face it, Dwayne Johnson is never going to be Marlon Brando. The last few years haven't been kind to him, as he's taken his tough guy persona and sold it for a chance to wear a ballerina outfit. It's gonna take some work to restore that image. With films like The Other Guys and Protection around the corner, he seems to be well on his way to doing just that.

 Back in September we heard that The Rock had signed on for George Tillman's(Soul Food) next film, an action revenge thriller called Faster. The story is about a recently released convict looking for revenge on the guys who killed his brother during a botched bank robbery. Faster stars Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino, Moon Bloodgood, and Maggie Grace. It's due to be released on November 24th, 2010.

The teaser trailer has just been released, and I think it sums up what the heck this movie's about pretty well. There really isn't a whole lot to it other than The Rock looking mean, with some fast cars, a couple of explosions, and people running away. That's good enough for me.
