I love Gwyneth Paltrow pretty much in anything, but even I was skeptical of her making the move to superheroics as Tony Stark's friend/assistant Pepper Potts in the Iron Man flicks. But y'know, I'm really digging the chemistry she has with Robert Downey Jr. With Marvel bringing together all of their film heroes for the all-star hero jam The Avengers, I just sorta assumed Paltrow would be included, even in just a scene or two. Apparently not...at least not according to her.
Speaking with Collider about her new flick, Country Strong, Paltrow seems convinced that she won't be in the movie at all...
Shooting on The Avengers is set to begin shooting in 3D next February, with a May 4th 2012 release date set.
