Sure Shots: GI Joe 2; Red sequel; Duncan Jones

* The best part of GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra? The same thing that was the coolest part of the GI Joe comic book, and that's the ninja rivalry between Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. Thankfully it looks like that feud will be continuing, as Lee Byung-hun has been confirmed to reprise his role as the GI Joe member's nemesis. Good deal.

* Red just lost it's Golden Globe bid for Best musical or comedy film, but unlike the rest of it's competitors it'll probably live on longer in sequels. Summit Entertainment seems to agree, and they've commissioned Jon and Erich Hoeber to start writing it. The pair are already up to their eyeballs in work, currently working on Man on a Ledge(starring Sam Worthington) and Battleship, based on the board game.

* I want Duncan Jones' next film right now! Source Code, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, will be out on April 15th but those of us who already love the director's work are already looking past that. We've heard that Mute, a sci-fi film Jones has been developing, would be next on his list, but that's looking like it's no longer the case. Jones confirms that Mute is now "in limbo", and that his next project will likely be an homage to 1982's Blade Runner.
