Trailer Time: Last Night
Well, I don't quite no what to make of this flick. Basically it's about a married couple played by Keira Knightley and Sam Worthington, who, during a night apart are tempted to cheat on one another. It almost feels like a much less real and gritty version of Closer, by the way if you haven't seen Closer I suggest you rent it immediately completely amazing film. I do however like the way it captures real world jealousy and the "little white lies" we tell in the bits the trailer gives us. It's something completely relate-able, of COURSE guys don't tell their significant others that a co-worker is hot...that undoubtedly leads to the, usually, unwarranted jealous interrogations and it also seems to cover the all to often true situation of one party being jealous and accusatory while keeping their own closet full of skeletons. I'll tell you one thing I do enjoy greatly about this movie...well two things really, Keira Knightley returning to American movies in something that takes place this century and Sam Worthington getting a shot to flex some acting muscle. I'm really pulling for that guy, he's so like-able but had an unfortunate run at the box office with 2 of his 3 star turning roles in Terminator: Salvation and Clash of the Titans. If nothing else this one looks to be an interesting watch, if only to find out who, if anyone, cheats. My money's on Keira cheating and Worthington staying faithful....only time shall tell!
